Frame

llustrate the composition technique of framing. Use some object such as a tree that is close to the camera to frame the subject.   A frame must be between the camera and the center of interest.  A quick review of the composition material might help if you are unsure of what a frame is - or look at the sample below. Notice how the SUBJECT has been surrounded by an obect that is between the camera and the subject. In most cases the object that frames the subject is a tree or bush as we see here.

MOST of the time the object used to frame the subject is a tree or bush as we see here, BUT it can be any object that is closer to the camera than the subject and is not clearly visible either from exposure or focus.  A frame does not fall behind the subject. The purpose of using a frame is to add depth to a photo and thus draw you eye into the center where the subject is.
