Since retirement from the classroom my passion for helping teachers integrate technology into their curriculum remains. I began working as a consultant to schools and organizations in 2002 as I transitioned from being the SCCS District Technology Coordinator to retirement. Here are some of the skills that are available:

• MOODLE Curriculum Design - Moodle is an open source system that operates on a PC or a MAC server to host and deliver course content material. With tremendous tools for assessment, content delivery, discussion and live interactivity this system can be used to supplement or provide all types of classroom content even including a full class without face to face contact. (Call for quote on your project )

 

• FILEMAKER PRO - With versions from 7 to 11 I can assist you in design, re-design or management of your data system. My main work was in classroom and assessment data but I have also designed a book store software for our church. As a FileMaker Solution Alliance Member for over 6 years I have had numerous courses in design and principles for FileMaker. I began using this software in version 1 in the 80's and have grown up with this software tool. ( Hourly rate is $50 per hour. )

 

• CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY - I have loved photography for more than 50 years and continue in my passion to capture life as it passes by using my camera. Besides this web site and the class.scphoto.com web site where my photo curriculum is available local Santa Cruz area friends are welcome to have me do sports or event candids for them. (Hourly rate is $20 plus transportation expense )
