Term Paper Project

This is a major academic project for this class. The paper must be at lest 4 or 5 pages, typed, double space with 12 point type or less.  It must contain in line footnotes (Title, page) and at least one illustration.  You must use at least two sources for information on this and one of these SHOULD be electronic.  Access to CD ROM and the internet will be provided on a limited basis.  Type you report on the computers in class or at your own home if you have one. 

TOPICS - pick one:

1. Famous photographer in history - cover their contribution to the field, their unique characteristics, special things of interest to you in their work and any special techniques.

2. Photo Technique - some special technique such as the zone system or  using a fill flash, etc.  Describe the process and include examples of how the techniques works. 

3. Photo Equipment - pick a piece of expuipment and write about its features and uses.  Discuss costs of the equipment as well as uses.

YOU MAY NOT copy directly from any source without using quotes.  IF material is copied that is cheating and a lower grade will be given if it can be confirmed that cheating took place. You may add direct quotes from your sources if they are in quotation marks and IF they are used to support your own remarks.

At least ONE source of information for this report must come off of the Internet. Time will be given in class to connect to web sites. Links on our Links page on the navigation bar on the upper left of this page will give some places to start to look.
