Candid
A candid happens when the subject is not aware of the photographer taking the photo causing them to act naturally. One of the tricks of the National Geographic photographers is their taking weeks of time getting to know their subject so that they don't notice them when they start to take pictures. Once the subject ignores the camera then a real candid can be taken which will capture the real story of what is seen.
For this assignment do a candid shot out on campus or in our lab. Be sure to not disturb classes and avoid pictures of security people out on campus (some of them don't like their picture taken all the time). A candid CAN also be of an animal, try to get the campus cat if you can.
