YOU are responsible for working with the team at your table in sharing equipment and helping each other with problems in doing the work. As a class you will need to respect the equipment and each other. You are responsible for doing the projects as assigned. You do not need to do the projects in a given block in order. You are responsible for time management and material use. You will need to be sure you have what you need each day to work on your projects. You will need to make a decision on what you want to do that day. If you just sit you will be asked if you need help, but if you just sit and talk that is up to you. You must be responsible for your time. If you have a problem you can get help from your team members, class members or from me. Your responsibility will be to assemble your work in your notebook with the best quality you can put together and turn it in on time. There are no incomplete grades in this class. If you are absent more than 15 times in a term you may have your parents request an INC grade, otherwise grades go in on the due date.
I will provide the directions for the class. Projects are assigned at the start of a grade period and outlined for you in detail in class. In addition the web site contains assignments should you need more information or if you miss something in class. My work will be to make sure you have the resources you need to do your work. I will evaluate you progress and make suggestions for ways you can do your best work. I am interested in your best effort and work representing what you can do with that effort. Don't compare your work to another student, what is acceptable for one may be below standard for another. You are working for yourself and not for the class.
