Attendance is taken by seating chart. YOU must be in your seat when the bell rings. IF you are not in your seat I will call out your name. If you are hear and tell me I will not mark you absent. But, IF you are busy talking and assume I saw you and I did not and marked you absent that will have to stay on the record. Absences will not be cleared once turned into the office. If you are marked absent and not excused you will get Saturday school. SO...be in class on time and in your seat and you will have nothing to worry about. /UL>
When you are tardy by school policy you get detention. In this class you will also have 2 points taken off of your total - EACH time you are tardy. This is a vocational class and tardiness is a major work attitude problem to employersÖ.so you must be on time to class and in your seat ready to work. Not bringing materials to class on time and needing to go to your locker to get them after class starts is considered a tardy. Not having a readmit card for class and needing to go to the office is also considered a tardy.
