Notes:
1. This class can receive Fine Arts or Applied Arts credits. You must direct how they will be applied - see your counselor
2. This is a TWO term class - or - 18 weeks - students will get 10 credits total for this class.
3. This is a vocational class - that means our goal in here is productivity and work attitudes- attendance is important and will effect your grade as will tardiness or lack of good use of time. Work will be assigned in blocks and your job will be to produce work and turn it in by a notebook.
4. All your work will go into your notebook. It is a fact that most of us need to hear something at least 6 times to remember it. In class as I speak is one, your writing is 2 and as your review your notes that is 3 and 4 and finally as you work on your projects you are recording information in your head for the 5th and 6th time. If you follow this process you will remember what you learned in photo for a much longer time.
5. This is a Learn By Doing class which means there will be very few lectures. You will be given work to accomplish and directions to do it. The learning comes when you do what you are asked. If you avoid doing what is asked you will not learn as much. If you come to class and just sit around and waste time you will not learn anything. The more you put into this class the more you will get out of it.
